Description
SOLLICH 1912 SI – STATUS INDICATOR – serves as an indicator of setting the correct polarity of the structure by the cathodic protection station SOLLICH 1507 CPCS, and for signaling the exceeding of the correct polarization range by this station.
The status indicator helps to set the polarization current of the SOLLICH 1507 CPCS station so that the protection potential Ep, at the time of setting, has a value equal to the middle value of the set range of the limit potentials of protection
Ep = – ½ (Uhi + Ulo)
Where: Ulo = the lowest limit value of the correct protection range,
Uhi = the highest limit value of the correct protection range.
After completing the regulation, the SOLLICH 1912 SI State Indicator goes into the state of control of the structure potential Ep with respect to the set limits of the correct protection range.
In the case of setting the current in the SOLLICH 1507 CPCS-SOLAR station, used in protection systems powered by solar sources, additionally on the SOLLICH 1912 SI indicator, the ON button should be pressed for the time of checking the correct operation.
The range of proper protection is indicated by the color of lighting of the LED diode.
- Red – The protection potential is too low
- Green – the protection potential is within the range of the set limits
- Yellow – protection potential is too high.
