and technical data

Description

The programmable SOLLICH 2153 PCB Circuit Breaker is a precision high-speed DC circuit breaker.

The device is designed to work in the field and in laboratory conditions as a DC circuit breaker. In particular, the device’s functions have been adapted to interrupt the DC current of the Cathodic Protection Station during DCVG measurements on all types of underground facilities.

The device is manufactured in two current versions.

  1. SOLLICH 2153 PCB v.10A enables interrupting DC currents up to 10A, with operating voltage up to 50V.
  2. SOLLICH 2153 PCB v.50A enables interrupting DC currents up to 50A, with operating voltage up to 100V..

Device functions

The SOLLICH 2153 PCB device is assembled in a suitcase housing, IP64 tight, easy to carry and transport, in which an internal power source (batteries) is built-in. The method of mounting the internal elements of the device guarantees the required resistance to shocks, which allows it to be used freely in field measurement conditions. The executive element of the device is a semiconductor key and/or an electromagnetic relay. The interrupter is powered by internal Li-Ion batteries. The interrupter current terminals, marked (+) and (-) are located on the right side of the front panel. The Time_OFF and Time_ON periods are adjustable from 0.0 to 99.9 seconds with a resolution of 0.1 seconds. During the Time_OFF cycle, the current flowing through the Interrupter key is disconnected. During the Time_ON cycle, the output current of the OK Station is passed through the key. The beginning of the OFF/ON cycle is internally synchronized with the beginning of each minute of the clock located inside the device or manually triggered using the button or from an external synchronizing device. The external synchronizing device manages the entire OFF/ON cycle. The device has a built-in system that synchronizes the operation of electronic systems from the GPS signal receiver or from an external device (e.g. a permanent cathodic protection station, DCVG generator.
